Duncan Seawall Dock and Boat Lift recently completed an 18 month, 200,000 cubic-yard hydraulic dredge project as a sub-contractor to Woodruff & Son’s Construction (Bradenton, Florida) for the Southwest Florida Management District at Sawgrass Lake in St. Petersburg, Florida. This sensitive hydraulic dredge project with partially contaminated material required Duncan Seawall to dredge the lake from -2 to -8 feet and required the use of one of its Ellicott hydraulic dredges. This machine was sized to match the dewatering and material separation plants located adjacent to the lake.
